The DDA or Delhi Development Authority is the apex body in the capital city in formulating and carrying out infrastructural as well as other developmental programmes. It is one of the very few organisations that have vacancies for stenographers even now. Applications for the various posts can be made online through the website dda.gov.in up to May 15 2020. DDA has now notified vacancies for the posts for Steno, Patwari, Mali, Assistant director and several other posts also. The total number of vacancies amount to 629.
By paying an application fee of Rs 500 the candidates can apply for the posts. Candidates belonging in either of the reserved categories need not pay any application fees. The total of 629 vacancies include in all the different hierarchy of Group A, Group B, Group C. the posts are of Mali, Patwari, Assistant Accounts officer, Planning Assistant, Assistance Director, Surveyor, Stenographer and others.
The minimum qualification for eligibility to apply for these posts is 12th standard whereas some posts need the candidate to be graduates. The Deputy and Assistant directorial posts require the candidates to hold a PhD in computer related subjects. The deputy and assistant director of system has two vacancies each and the deputy and assistant directors of planning section has 5 vacancies each. The other vacancies include assistant accountant officer (11), Architectural Officer [8], Section Officer (Horticulture) [48], Surveyor [11], Stenographer [100], Patwari [44], Mali [100] .
