Central Ground Water Board which functions under the Ministry of Water Resources has invited applications for the posts of Consultant and Young Professional. There are 62 vacancies in these posts. Those who are selected will get an appointment to the National Aquifer Mapping and Management Programme. The appointment is for three years on a temporary basis and the duration will be extended if necessary.
Eligibility: Master’s degree in specified subjects and a work experience of at least 10 years in the field of Ground Water and Hydrology are the qualifications required for the post of Consultant.
Those who wish to apply for Young Professional post should have a Master’s degree in any of the following subjects,
” Geology
” Applied Geology
” Earth Science
” Geoscience
” Hydrology
Age limit: the maximum age limit for Young Professional post is 30 years and for Consultant post is 65 years.
Salary: Young Professionals will get a monthly salary of 45,000 Rs and for Consultants the monthly salary will be 1 lakh Rs.
