A surveillance robot named ‘RoboCop’ now aids the police to patrol in the parks of California. The robot which rolls on its wheels through the parks can record high quality videos through its 360 ® cameras. The California police department handed over this robot to the Hungington park city council.
The Robocop has been patrolling the park for some weeks now. The video footages shot by the Robocop live streams directly to the police department office. These footages can also be stored. The police points out that crime rates can be reduced with the help of this new endeavour.
The newly introduced Robocop even wishes the people in the park a good day. To be precise this Robocop can be categorised or described as a moving closed circuit TV camera.
